In reading an article on weather patterns, I noted that an Indian Summer can happen anytime between mid-September and Mid-November. This was my inspiration for “Indian Summer”. I wanted something I could leave out longer yet still feel I was decorating for Halloween. Combining my love of overdyed threads, oranges to compliment the overdyed thread and black ribbon with orange hologram sequins I managed to cover the entire fall season, Mid-September all the way through Thanksgiving.
The design is line drawn on 18 Mesh canvas and includes the stitch guide, black ribbon, yellow cord and orange sequins The finished size is 12 x 8. The instructions include a material list with close-up color photographs of each stitch. Have finished as a pillow insert or have your framer have it finished as a serving tray using twig or leaf handles.
If you would prefer working in your own coloration, the instructions can be ordered without the canvas and ribbon pack select option 2: Stitch guide only.
